Columbus Community Heritage Center

This building is at 122 Maple St., Columbus Junction, Iowa, was built as a school and was used as the Columbus Community Library for many years. It is now home to the Columbus Community Heritage Center. Exhibits feature artifacts from the surrounding communities including the towns of Columbus City, Columbus Junction, Cotter, Fredonia, Wyman. Volunteers keep the museum open on weekends. Hours are: 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
